Dear Prospective Volunteer:

Thank you for your interest in The Child Advocates Office and the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program!

This area provides information describing the CASA program and a Volunteer Position Description outlining the responsibilities of the CASA volunteer.

If you are interested in learning more about the application process for becoming a CASA volunteer, please choose one of the Information Session dates listed to the right and confirm your attendance by calling 323.526.6666 for Monterey Park or 661.723.2272 for Antelope Valley.

The process for acceptance into the CASA Training Program is as follows:

  1. Read the CASA Volunteer Position Description.
  2. Attend one of the volunteer Information Sessions listed to the right (Los Angeles or Antelope Valley).
  3. Complete, print, sign, and submit (before or at the Information Session) the Volunteer Application.
  4. Complete, print, sign, and submit (before or at the Information Session) the Security Clearance form.
  5. Be interviewed by 2 people from the CASA Office.
  6. Be invited to our 5-day Training Program.
