Dear Prospective Volunteer:

Thank you for your interest in The Child Advocates Office and the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Program!

This area provides information describing the CASA program and a Volunteer Job Description outlining the responsibilities of the CASA volunteer.

After reviewing these materials, if you are interested in learning more about the application process for becoming a CASA volunteer, please choose one of the orientation dates listed in the orientation areas to the right and confirm your attendance by calling 323.526.6666.

The process for acceptance into the CASA Training Program is as follows:

  1. Read the CASA Volunteer Job Description.
  2. Attend one of the volunteer orientations listed in the orientation areas to the right (Los Angeles or Antelope Valley).
  3. Complete, print, sign, and submit (before or at orientation) the Volunteer Application.
  4. Complete, print, sign, and submit (before or at orientation) the Security Clearance form.
  5. Be invited to our 5-day Training Program.
