Board of Directors
Board of Directors members meet as a whole 11 times per year, and each
member also works regularly on a board committee in order to expand the number
of abused and neglected children helped by CASA of Los Angeles. Board of Directors
members ensure that the CASA mission is fulfilled, participate in
the development of long-range plans, set and approve policies and financial
management, assume primary responsibility for fundraising projects, and personally
participate in and contribute to CASA events and projects.
Board terms are three years, with the possibility of an additional three year
term.
Honorary Advisory Board
CASA of Los Angeles’ Honorary Advisory Board members provide
support and assistance to the Board in developing community awareness about
CASA of Los Angeles and the needs of abused and neglected children. This is
the perfect opportunity for influential individuals in the community who are
passionate about the work of CASA of Los Angeles to be involved and truly make
a difference, with a more flexible commitment than that of a Board of Directors
member or a CASA volunteer.
